Defining a "relationship" (a join between two tables) is much the same as it is in FileMaker Pro:

  • Click the button
  • Choose the table you want to join to the current table from the pop-up window:

  • Once you've chosen the related table, choose the key field from the current file (on the left) and choose the key field in the file you want to join to (on the right).

  • Name the query, click and the relationship will be "saved" with the table data. The relationship will now appear in the relationship pop-up menu whenever you choose the table used on the left hand side of the relationship:

Whenever you choose a relationship, you can edit it by clicking the "Edit Relationship" button that appears below the pop-up menu.
