Creating a protected query is simple:

• Check the "Protect Query" checkbox

• Enter any password you choose (don't FORGET the password!) and when you click the "Save" button, the query will be protected from that point forward.

When (edit) button is clicked, you will see a password input dialog box:

If the correct password entered is not entered, you will NOT be able to edit the query.
